Time Warner Cable is running an ad with a mother who, on the spur of the moment, acquiesces to her young daughter’s desire for a puppy by asking the Time Warner Cable technician (who happened to wander up to them at the wishing well and sell them TWC services) if he knows the location of the nearest pet store.

Impulse pet purchase = bad

Puppy/kitten mill financing = bad

Please tell Time Warner Cable that pets aren’t an impulse buy like shoes, and that puppies and kittens are dying in shelters while people shop in puppy and kitten mills.
