Spring Equinox


In honor of the first day of spring, I’d like to introduce you to the Norse goddess Iduna.

Iduna is a goddess of youth. In her garden grows an apple tree that bears golden apples. The golden apples keep the Norse gods and goddesses in Asgard youthful and strong. Here’s a story about what happened when Iduna was tricked out of her home and away from her garden (and it features Loki!):
