I Have a Love Poem

Standard

I have a love poem

Cold feet in wet grass

The crows went silent

Hours ago, now the owl

Hoots. Hunter’s Moon,

Something screamed a last

Scream. In the must

Of rotting leaves I found the old boulder

Lower than I remembered

I sank into the earth

While the trees looked on.
